



Coach Omer Markush, KADOORSAL DIRECTOR, grew up in Los Angeles and attended local Schools and Yeshivas. Following studies in Yeshivah in Israel, he began his career in sports education and training. He was the head coach of the Junior Varsity basketball team at VTHS and led the Varsity squad to a top 4 finish in the annual Yeshiva University Red Sarachek Tournament, the country’s most prestigious tournament for Jewish high school basketball teams. In addition to coaching, he was admitted to play and represent the United States Team in the Australian Maccabiah Games (Jewish Olympics). He has held various positions throughout the West Coast such as athletic director and a 2nd and 3rd grade Rebbe. Throughout the year, Coach Markush coaches at Yeshiva Ohr Eliyahu and runs local sports programs and tournaments. In addition to sports clinics and tournaments, Coach Markush runs a summer sports camp in LA for grades 1st – 8th. He is available upon request for private events/lessons and parties.
