KADOORSAL LEAGUE ONLINE REGISTRATION
Kadoorsal Sports Leagues are designed to develop skills, teach sportsmanship and derech eretz, build self-confidence, and above all have a great time. Additionally, it is meant to encourage unity amongst the players and help promote long-lasting friendships.
Leagues include trophies, referees, take-home uniform, raffles & prizes, and much much more…
All TEAMS ADVANCE TO THE PLAYOFF ROUND(S). Seating will depend on league record.
There are no refunds after Week 3.

BASKETBALL (Boys Only)
Information of the 2019 league is as follows:
Dates: Fall 2019 season dates are October 27 – January 12. (10 sessions total) See calendar for holiday dates etc. Location: Kadoorsal games will be held at Ohr Eliyahu: 241 S Detroit St, Los Angeles, CA 90036 Price: $245 per player if registration is received before Nov. 4. After that date, $265. (price is already discounted for multiple siblings in the online registration) Price includes skilled referees and coaches, take-home uniform set, raffles/prizes, trophies, and all equipment. BELOW RULES APPLY TO THE JR VARSITY (2nd-3rd) DIVISION:- There will be two 14 minute halfs; games will have complete runnage time and clock will not stop. (see below exception)
- Half-time will be as follows: total time for half-time is 4 minutes. Coach (and other coach if applicable) will address the first team for the first 2 minutes and the other team for the other 2 minutes. It is suggested during this time to stay hydrated and relax. There is absolutely no shooting during half-time.
- During the second half ONLY, there will be stoppage of time upon a “dead ball” in the final 60 seconds of the second half ONLY IF there is a 5 point or less difference in the score and free-throws will be awarded as well if a foul is committed.
- Each team is allotted 1 timeout ONLY in the 2nd half (exception: 1 timeout per team for each overtime). Timeouts can be called out by any OFFENSIVE team’s player/coach. No timeouts can be called if a team is in a defensive possession (i.e.- the other team has possession of the ball). There are no timeouts in the first half. During a timeout, both teams are encouraged to discuss the given situation at their separate benches. Coaches will address the offensive team (if only 1 coach is coaching) during this time-out. Timeout is 60 seconds.
- There is absolutely no back-court press, which means that the opposing team may not guard the player with the ball before it is crossed past half-court. If this occurs, the offensive team will retake the ball in from out of bounds.
BELOW RULES APPLY TO VARSITY (4th – 6th) DIVISION:
- Games will have complete runnage time, (i.e.- full 18min without stopping the clock) with the exception of the rule below.
- During the second half ONLY, there will be stoppage of time upon a “dead ball” in the final 60 seconds of the second half ONLY IF there is a 7 point or less difference in the score.
- Each team is allotted 1 timeout ONLY in the 2nd half (exception: 1 timeout per team for each overtime). Timeouts can be called out by any OFFENSIVE team’s player/coach (failure of this will result in T-Foul shot plus possession). No timeouts can be called if a team is in a defensive possession (i.e.- the other team has possession of the ball). There are no timeouts in the first half. During a timeout, both teams are encouraged to discuss the given situation at their separate benches. Coaches will address the offensive team (if only 1 coach is coaching) during this time-out. Timeout is 60 seconds.

- Upon 10 team-fouls, the opposing team starts shooting 1-and-1 free-throws (ex: when a team commits the 10th personal foul, the opposing team will start shooting free-throws. 1-and-1 means that if the first free throw is made, a second free-throw attempt will be awarded. If however the first free-throw was missed, the ball is in play. In a free-throw situation, the ball is in play upon the ball hitting the rim. If the free-throw shot does not hit any part of the rim, it is a violation and the other team will take out the ball from out of bounds.
- A team can press/ure beyond half court for the final 60 seconds. Additionally, three pointers are allotted for 18ft or more. This is to the discretion of the referee.
GENERAL RULES:
If a team has only 4 players on a given day, then we will play 4 x 4. Anything less than 4 players is a forfeit. There is absolutely no intentional fouls. (exception: for foul-shots in a close game situation, i.e.- within 7 points. Player must be attempting for the ball) Any intentional fouls not attempting for the ball will result in stoppage of time as well as 1 technical foul shot.. Overtime is 3 minutes with stoppage time in last 60 seconds.
There is absolutely ZERO tolerance for any misbehavior. The referee, Coach Markush, and Kadoorsal Staff have the right to refuse a player from playing at any time. All teams/players are subject to change by Kadoorsal Staff within the first 4 games of the season.
SOCCER (Boys Div & Girls Div)
Soccer league info:
Spring 2020- Time: All players 3:30-4:30 PM
- Boys: Nursery – 6th grade
- Girls: Nursery – 6th grade
- 3:15-3:30, check-in and warm-ups
- 3:30-4:30, drills and game-time
- 4:30, finish up/game discussions
- All games will be played on separate fields, for ages 6+
- (Male coaches for boys and Female coaches for girls)
- Dates: February 9 – May 3 (10 sessions). Online Calendar
- Price is $265 per player (see online sibling discounts at checkout) (players are required to wear shin guards and soccer cleats to all sessions).
- Venue: North Hollywood Park is conveniently located in Valley Village / North Hollywood area. Minutes from Pico, Hancock Park, Encino/Tarzana etc.
- Parking lot is off of Magnolia Ave or on Chandler Blvd
